Gold Run 2022 Storyline :
Fredrik isn’t the bravest of men, but now he is faced with a great responsibility and an enormous task – to get the entire Norwegian gold reserve away from the Nazis during the invasion of Norway.
Based on a true story, in rather dramatic fashion the movie features the moving of 50 tonnes of gold representing Norways reserves – worth about £3bn at todays prices. It’s a measure of how well Norway has managed its economy that today, whilst not held in gold, it’s reserves are worth about 20 x more at £60bn, although this hasn’t kept up with inflation!
TAGLINE: A true robber story about the time Norway had to steal its own gold.
