Harold and the Purple Crayon (2024) Hindi 720p HDRip: I didn’t know about the book by Crockett Johnson prior, the concept reminded me of an extended version of Neil Buchanan’s Smart Arty from CITV’s Zzzap! (a favourite from my childhood), it certainly looked like it would be entertaining from the trailer, directed by Carlos Saldanha (Ice Age: The Meltdown, Rio, Ferdinand). Basically, inside his book, Harold was an adventurous child with a magical purple crayon, and anything he draws with it comes to life. Grown up, Harold (Zachary Levi) continues having adventures with his drawn animal friends, Moose (Get Out’s Lil Rel Howery) and Porcupine (Tanya Reynolds), with the Narrator, or the “Old Man” (Alfred Molina) telling his story. When the Narrator suddenly goes silent, Harold decides to draw a door to enter the Real World in order to find him. Harold lands in the park, followed by Moose who becomes human, while Porcupine, also transformed into a human, gets separated from them.
